How difficult is riding a Segway?
The Segway i2 Personal Transporter is easy and fun to operate for most. A helmet & training is included Before starting your Segway tour. In a matter of minutes you’re gliding through our training course. Its easy for most, and a refund is provided if unable to pass training Comfortably

What kind of shoes are recommended?
All riders must wear a flat bottomed, closed-toe shoe or a sandal with a strap around the heel. *Anyone wearing an open-toe form of shoe is at a much higher risk of injury. If you choose to wear open-toe shoe, you do so at your own risk.This is a frequently asked question?

What happens if there is rainy weather?
Our rain policy: “It rarely rains all day in Pittsburgh!” We will make a final decision two hours before tour times. If we need to, we will cancel and rebook a new tour time and date OR we may move the time to avoid the bad weather. We work closely with our clients to make any changes comfortable. We do carry ponchos in case we get a sprinkle while on tour. The Segway is waterproof, and we want you to be comfortableThis is a frequently asked question?
What is your cancellation policy?
Changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour. Credit provided if you miss the tour.

Every year, Segway Pittsburgh donates hundreds of tours to non profit organizations. Donation requests can be mailed to:
